The Grass Foundation encourages Grass Fellows to publish results obtained during the Grass Fellowship. To that end, and to address the rising costs associated with publication, the foundation is pleased to consider requests to cover publication expenses for submitting manuscripts that reflect work done primarily during their Grass Fellowship. This would include manuscripts that incorporate further experiments done outside the Fellowship, as necessary to complete the report to the scientific community. The foundation is eager to support publication in journals that offer some degree of open access.

All fellows must list The Grass Foundation as a funding source and include “The Grass Fellowship Laboratory at the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL), Woods Hole, MA” as an institutional affiliation.
